Pastel Portrait From a Photograph
A workshop for those who want to hone their skills in portraiture and use of pastels. You’ll be focusing on flesh tones using a set method of applying colour and following Lucie with step by step demonstrations. The course will cover how to create a convincing likeness, and an engaging image. Lucie provides friendly, expert instruction on the interactive principles of composition, as well as the anatomy of the human face and the key relationships among its features. We will work from photographs. The day covers the techniques of traditional portraiture as well as Lucie’s own methods. Returners are very welcome but no experience needed.
