Paint Out Masters The Cathedral Challenge
Tidy St. Art School is very excited to announce POM21 an Outdoor Painting Competition & Popup Art Exhibition at Chichester Cathedral designed to draw out the local artistic talent .
It is with sadness that we have made the decision to postpone this Saturday's #PaintOutMasters event.
One of the Paint Out Masters team is having to self-isolate, and the safety of those attending and supporting our events, as well as ensuring the quality of the workshops, must come first.
A new date for this weekend's workshop for children will shared shortly, however those with tickets will be refunded by the Chichester Box Office in due course.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
As part of The Festival of Chichester The event invites artists of all ages and abilities to compete to become Paint Out Masters of the Cathedral.
The brain child of our very own Lucie Cookson from Tidy St. School of Arts this live art experience celebrates painting and drawing and being outside in beautiful surroundings .
A shortlist of paintings will be selected for an exhibition opening on 2nd July with an array of awards and prizes.
Tidy St. Art school offered free online drawing and painting lessons throughout lockdown and together with the Cathedral are putting out free tutorials and resources to support the event.
Tutors and professional artists will be on site demonstrating technique and encouraging artists who come to paint on the day. There will be live broadcasting and images from the event for those who can not make it in person.
Week 2 celebrates young artists and will be for under 18's. The day will be full of inspiration with free art materials and workshops available as well as professional artists and tutors on hand to encourage and advise.
Tickets can be bought from the Novium
book now as places are limited .
