My weekly painting at Tidy St is my favourite time of the week. Lucie is an exceptional teacher who creates a relaxed atmosphere with gentle structure (+ tea and cake, important). She is hugely generous in sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience. My painting has improved rapidly under Lucie's tutelage, and she always knows when to push me to be bolder and braver.

Lucie has helped me to produce paintings I never thought I could create. I have learnt so much in the 4 years I have been coming and her classes are always fun!

Lucie creates a lovely friendly atmosphere in her classes. I have thoroughly enjoyed her courses for several years and have found her knowledge, teaching skills and her own expert practice to be inspiring.

I have been coming to Lucie's classes for over 6 years now and in that time have had a huge amount of fun, met some lovely people and learnt more than I ever thought I would.

I originally came to Tidy Street because Lucie does a lot of portraiture. Six years later I'm still there because she is very skilled and a generous teacher who keeps introducing me to new ideas and techniques.

I have been coming to Lucie for two years and I'm so glad I did. Her classes are great fun and I have learnt so much about colour mixing and other techniques. Friendly atmosphere and a great teacher.

Who knew there was so much to learn about oil painting? Lucie finds fun and interesting ways to take us through the process and is always patient and encouraging which is why I keep coming back for more. I've learnt so much in a fun and friendly environment.

I have been attending Lucie's painting courses for some years now. In fact she arranged Covid-free classes over the internet and it was great having contact with fellow students. I have gained so much confidence under Lucie and look forward to meeting up weekly.
